About this course
The course aims to provide knowledge and practical strategies to support the communication skills of autistic pupils and/or pupils with social communication needs in a wide variety of settings. There are 5 sessions which cover:
- Autism and Communication
- Sensory Development and Sensory Integration
- Communication Differences
- The Learning Environment
- Encouraging Positive Interaction
- Supporting Social Communication
- Developing verbal reasoning and The Blank Language Scheme
- Supporting language development
